Rural Women Society is a registered non-profit organization based in Angangba, Tuensang District, Nagaland. Established in 2015, we work for the empowerment of rural women, children, and underprivileged communities through education, livelihood training, health services, environmental initiatives, and social welfare programs.
Our main office is located in Angangba village under Longkhim Sub-Division, Tuensang District, Nagaland. We work across rural and tribal areas of Nagaland, and collaborate with local communities, government bodies, and institutions for wider impact.

Yes, Rural Women Society has recently started managing an Old Age Home to provide shelter, care, and dignity to neglected and elderly individuals. It includes basic facilities, regular health checkups, meals, and recreational activities.

Yes. We are registered under 12A and 80G of the Income Tax Act. This means all eligible donations to Rural Women Society are exempted from income tax under 80G provisions.

Yes! We welcome volunteers from all parts of India and even internationally. You can volunteer on-site or remotely, depending on your skills and availability. Check our Volunteer page to apply.
Absolutely! We encourage students and young professionals (especially from social work, rural development, media, or education backgrounds) to intern with us. Interns receive a certificate and real-life experience in community development.

Yes! In fact, we actively engage and train women-led Self Help Groups (SHGs) in financial literacy, micro-enterprise, and access to government schemes. We also offer certification upon successful completion of training.
